I’m Matt Kade: chemist by day, pretend chef and homebrewer by night; born in Massachusetts, developed a love for food in California. I moved to Hyde Park in Chicago for work, and am lucky enough to live right by the local produce stand/grocery store Hyde Park Produce. Filled with reasonably priced produce, I found myself eating more fruits and vegetables than ever before, and cooking food made almost entirely from fresh ingredients.  This inspired to me write a blog about my experience with Hyde Park Produce in my quest to cook delicious and (mostly) healthy food along the way to using every fresh ingredient HPP sells.
